Raven of Encouragement

This morning, as I was leaving for work, I heard a pounding noise. I looked at the window in the hallway and saw a raven looking straight at me, pounding on window. This is the second time this has happened with this window. A raven has done this two additional times in the window by my elevator over the past few years. I’ve had several encounters with ravens on my prayer walks as well. Each time it’s a kiss from God that He’s with me.

There’s a raven who built a nest outside my bedroom window as well, knocking on the wall and off. My manager put a decoy, but the raven won’t leave. I love it as it reminds me of God speaking to me about His provision like in the story of Elijah. I’m currently reading about Elijah in 1 Kings, which is even more significant. Thank you Lord for your encouragement and provision, especially when we need it. May He send us all these kisses from the Father to show He’s with us, for us, and has a future and a hope for us all!
