Many people have been dealing with disappointment. It feels like it never ends. The definition of disappointment is defeated in expectation or hope and obsolete or not adequately equipped. The Lord is actually doing the complete opposite of this. The Lord is equipping us as He strips away the old things and refines us into the new, to be more like Him. It’s very painful, but in His mercy He knows what is needed.
He wants us to put our expectation and hope in Him. This means we trust Him that He knows what’s best for us. Faith trusts God that even when we can’t see it, He is working all things out for good in His time. I feel He wants us to read the scripture below, slowly, and study it. God’s plans for us are good, to give us a future and a hope! Seek Him, rest in Him, and I pray the peace that passes understanding will come over you in Jesus’ name!
“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matt. 6:9-13
