About Me

Heather Poundstone is a public-school teacher in Los Angeles. She is called to education reform and prophetic ministry. The Lord has been speaking prophetically to her since she was a child. She was radically saved at age 17, after suffering a difficult childhood. She graduated from Christ for the Nations and it was there and at her church, that her prophetic gift grew. She has been a revival group leader for Nate and Christy Johnston’s prophetic group, Grow, and been blessed by Agnes Ebedi's Breakthrough Challenge group. She has been fortunate to have some of her words featured on The Elijah List and has been interviewed on Spirit Fuel and Beauty for Ashes. She hopes these prophetic words minister to you! Vision

My mission is to reform education back to God’s original plan and speak God’s heart to His people by making them feel known by Him and giving them a future and a hope. I am bringing hope back to education and releasing people from the stress that unrealistic expectations have caused. I am bringing God’s hope to people who have been overwhelmed by all that life has to offer and bringing them back to the simplicity of the gospel. I will accomplish this by seeking the Lord every step of the way and waiting on His timing and favor. Above all, I will be fearless in speaking His truth and not my own!

A Synopsis of My Testimony

When I was around 8 years old, I had a vision of a huge car accident, involving huge semi-trucks on the freeway when my mom and I were driving. I told my mom there was going to be an accident and to pull over. Somehow, she listened to me and pulled over and then there was a huge accident just like I had pictured. We were able to drive around it and were just fine. I thought I had ESP, but after being saved at the age of 17, I realized that was God! I had several similar things like this happen to me as a child, long before I was a Christian. When I was around 1 or 2, my mom and her friend were sunbathing next to the pool and fell asleep. The Holy Spirit woke my mom’s friend up, who realized that I had fallen into the pool. I was at the bottom of the deep end. She dove in and saved me, just in time! He was speaking all along, saving my life over and over! He’s so good!

I was saved on Halloween at age 17. I kicked Satan's butt from day 1! I was saved out of a horrific childhood. The path I was going down was terrible. I was on my way to living a life of sin in LA, studying acting, (I may have been successful as A-list celebrities said I was talented). Without Jesus, I would be on drugs, have illegitimate kids, divorced, a mess, dead or even caught up in the evil of Hollywood! Thank God He saved me! This makes me have compassion on people caught up in this mess because that would have been me. Jesus save them! That's all of us. Where would we be without Jesus? It makes me cry in so much gratitude!! He's so good! I've had several people tell me that they would have never known I had such a difficult childhood. Only Jesus can bring healing like this!
